Batana Oil
Batana Oil is obtained by cold-pressing the roasted kernel of Elaeis oleifera. DAKIMO has confirmed the exact botanical source as Elaeis oleifera (rather than the common African oil palm, Elaeis guineensis) and the kernel — not the fruit pulp — as the pressed material, consistent with the traditional Central American "batana" oil this product is modeled on. Valued in traditional haircare for its deep nourishing and restorative effect on dry, damaged hair.
